Walk-In Showers in Tampa
Tampa's housing stock is a mix. Historic bungalows in Hyde Park and Seminole Heights with bathrooms the size of a closet. 1970s ranch homes in Town 'N' Country with the original avocado tub. New construction in Wesley Chapel where the builder shower was an afterthought. We install walk-in showers in all of them.
Small bathrooms are our specialty. A lot of Tampa homes have a five-foot tub wall and not an inch to spare. We design walk-in showers that fit that exact footprint — glass instead of a curtain, wall-hung vanity, the right tile scale — so the bathroom feels twice as big without moving a single wall.
Tub-to-Shower Conversions
This is the job we do most in Tampa. Out comes the tub you never use. In goes a walk-in shower with a frameless or semi-frameless glass panel, new valve and head, and tile from floor to ceiling. Most conversions finish in under a week.
Built for Florida
Tampa's humidity and summer storms mean waterproofing is not optional. We use full membrane waterproofing behind every shower surface. We also check your bathroom exhaust fan — if it is venting into the attic instead of outside, that is a mold problem waiting to happen, and we will tell you.
Water Quality and Your Shower
Tampa's water is moderately hard, and it leaves its mark on shower glass and fixtures over time. We plan for this from the start: glass with protective coatings that resist spotting, fixtures in brushed or matte finishes that hide mineral deposits better than polished chrome. A simple squeegee habit does more than any cleaner. And if your water is particularly hard, we can talk about whether a softener makes sense — not as an upsell, but because it genuinely extends the life of everything the water touches.
